Foy Sagar Lake is a man-made lake situated in the state of Rajasthan, India. The lake was created by an Englishman named Mr. Foy, under a famine relief project in 1892. The lake was built to address the harsh conditions brought about by famine. The lake is named after its creator and has become a popular local attraction. It boasts of scenic beauty, picnic areas, and ample green space for visitors to enjoy. The lake is surrounded by the Shiv Mandir and features beautiful chadar roofs. Although the lake's edges have weakened with time, it remains a favorite picnic spot for the people of Ajmer.

Lake Foy Sagar is an artificial lake situated near Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is named after the engineer Mr. Foy, an Englishman, who created it under a famine relief project in 1892. He created it to tackle with harshest conditions of famine under a famine relief project, this is most and beautiful lake

My visit to Foy Sagar Lake was a decent experience. The lake's serene surroundings and tranquil waters provided a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The scenic beauty was pleasant, and it was a nice place to spend some time in nature. However, the amenities around the lake were somewhat limited, and I wished there were more facilities for visitors. Overall, it's a good spot for a quiet outing, but it may not offer as many activities or services as some other tourist destinations.

Beautiful lake , the area is renovated too recently though still there is lot of scope for betterment. Paid Parking is there. Update: Now it's full of water above 23 feet and it's expected to overflow in this rainy season Update on 29 July: It's overflowing now beautiful views see the latest video updated on this review

Peaceful lake just outside Ajmer city. Nice to visit any time. There is also a garden adjacent to the lake, which is maintained quite well. There were not restrictions to entry into the lake when I visited. There is no security so you need to be careful around the water in case you go close. Neatness was okayish. I did find some waste near the lake. But it was a nice spot to take a small break as I was riding to Ajmer from Jaipur.
